Utah activists like our friends at the Utah ERA Coalition are getting ready to host an “ERA Day” at the capitol to move the bi-partisan resolution for ratification of the ERA forward.

“Equality of gender was emblazoned into our state's constitution in 1896. It would follow that Utah would support the equality of gender at every level, including the federal level," said co-sponsor Senator Kirk Cullimore (R).

State Senator Kathleen Riebe introduced the Utah resolution on Monday, January 31, 2022 as SJRes7. You can read the full resolution on the state government website here.

And if you want to get involved in fighting for the Equal Rights Amendments in Utah, make sure you follow the Utah ERA Coalition webpage and request to join their Facebook group! They're doing amazing things in Utah!
