The ERA Coalition, an organization led by women of color, represents millions of people and more than 200 allied organizations whose common mission is to see the Equal Rights Amendment ratified and implemented within the United States Constitution. As we continue our fight towards the constitutional protections of those on the account of sex, many new companies, businesses, individuals, and organizations have followed suit and joined forces to become members alongside the ERA Coalition. As a show of our gratitude and continued support, we would like to take a moment to spotlight some of our newest members from this past month.

In September of 2021:

Thank you so much to all of our new partners for their essential support in pursuit of the continued ratification and implementation of the Equal Rights Amendment within the United States Constitution. This month’s member highlights include Leading Women of Tomorrow, the American Humanist Association, and the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce!

Leading Women of Tomorrow

Leading Women of Tomorrow strives to equip more undergraduate women with the skills, resources, and confidence to become advocates in their professional fields, with the goal of creating a broader network of change-makers in the next generation. The organization works with leaders from campuses across the country to develop innovative programming, ranging from speaker series to world-renowned experts to engaging thematic workshops. Leading Women of Tomorrow has partnered with the Equal Rights Amendment Coalition to continue to grow their movement while simultaneously working towards the protections of women in their professional fields as would be afforded by the ratification and implementation of the ERA in the U.S. Constitution.

American Humanist Association

The American Humanist Association has stood as the voice for humanism in the United States for over 80 years, striving to bring about a progressive society where being good without a god is an accepted and respected way to live life. The association works through their defense of civil liberties and secular governance, byv their outreach to the growing number of people without traditional religious faith, and through a continued refinement and advancement of the humanist worldview. The American Humanist Association has teamed up with the Equal Rights Amendment Coalition this month to instill the very ethical values it upholds  into the United States Constitution through the ratification of the ERA.

United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce aims to be the leading voice to advance Hispanic business potential to drive the American economy through building an ecosystem to accelerate Hispanic business growth and prosperity. The USHCC actively promotes the economic growth, development, and interests of more than 4.7 million Hispanic-owned businesses that, combined, contribute over $800 billion to the American economy every year. It advocated on behalf of its network of more than 250 local chambers and business associations nationwide, while also partnering with over 260 major American corporations. The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has joined the ERA Coalition’s partners this month in recognizing the importance of the added protections the ERA would afford to Hispanic businesses and their workers.
